Realtime Technologies’ advanced powertrain modeling calculates the torques at each wheel, taking into account both modeled inputs (engine, transmission, etc.) and user inputs (brake pedal, gear selector, accelerator pedal, steering angles, etc.), and even equipment malfunctions. The software easily integrates with scenarios, terrain, and operating conditions (day, night, poor visibility, inclement weather, variable traffic patterns) created in the included scenario-design software.
Depending on your research needs and simulation requirements, SimCreator and SimCreator DX can be supplemented with:
- SimObserver a video capture system that can include driver eye tracking
- SimDriver an autonomous interaction simulation software
SimCreator’s modular, scalable software smoothly integrate with other software packages and can be scaled and modified over time as your research expands or changes direction. Up to 10 driving research simulators can be simultaneously networked to create a rich, naturalistic environment in which many human drivers are interacting with the same scenario.
